CLARICE CLIFF, “ DELICIA PANSIES”, an early example of this fabulous floral design as can be seen by the hand-written ‘Pansies’ in black paint on both the cup and the saucer which indicates that these super examples were painted before the pattern had been ‘established’ as later examples would carry the ‘printed’ Pansies back-stamp.

In excellent and original condition, this duo is spectacularly painted, so bold and so bright. The only thing to mention is the tiny original firing mark at the base of the cup which I have pictured for you to see and this does not in any way detract from its beauty.
