We haven’t seen one of these examples for an absolute age and this one is really well and thickly and boldly painted too and also carries the desired and hardly ever seen hand-painted ‘Gayday’ script mark too which indicates that this was produced prior to the pattern being established in its own right.

There’s a minor hairline as pictured which is reflected in the realistic asking price for such a rarity.
